The  Old Quarter is a charming place that visitors are keen to explore whenever they come to the city. Bach Ma Temple festival in Hanoi Old Quarter opens

Participants join in dances and a street parade through Ma May and Luong Ngoc Quyen streets. Bach Ma (White Horse) Temple is among the four sacred temples which is dedicated to the gods who guard the four gates of the Thang Long Citadel. The three other temples include Quan Thanh, Kim Lien, and Voi Phuc. Beating the drum in order to mark the opening of the festival Leaders of Hoan Kiem district offer incense at Bach Ma Temple. Visitors will have the chance to listen to performance of Ca Tru (ceremonial singing), as well as enjoying playing folk games during the course of the two-day festival.
