Vietnam’s Binh Phuoc sees the Launch of a Huge Square

The square is designed with an open space and stunning lighting systems, with the aim of making the city unique and distinct. It was officially inaugurated on Phu Xuan Street, Tan Phu Ward, marking the fifth anniversary of the establishment of Dong Xoai. The construction of the square, which cost VND50 billion (US$2.06 million) from the city’s budget, spans an area of 21.9 hectares. The square consists of a spacious yard, a 6,000-square-meter area for events and festivals, a performance stage, a sports zone, a flower garden, and a recreational and entertainment section. 4 proposed diving sites to tackle Nha Trang’s overtourism

Announced at a recent meeting, these four new diving sites are located in the northern part of Hon Rua Island, an artificial reef area in Vinh Hoa Ward, the northeastern part of Tri Nguyen Island, and the waters between Bai Tranh and Bai Soi beaches. According to Huynh Binh Thai, head of the Nha Trang Bay management authority, the relevant agencies have agreed to the pilot opening of these four new diving sites. Spotlight on Vietnamese Culture at Asian Fair in France

This was the first time Vietnam officially participated in the event, with the aim to continue its participation in the future and contribute to promoting Vietnam as a friendly and hospitable country to international friends. Planting of Vietnam-Japan friendship trees in Da Nang

The JBAD is initiating a tree plantation project in collaboration with Japanese enterprises in Da Nang. This project is part of a series of activities planned for 2023 that aim to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan, as well as Japan and Da Nang, according to Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Union. Voting begins for top 10 culture, sporting, and tourism events in 2022

Voting was launched on December 6 in Hanoi by Van Hoa (Culture) newspaper under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other competent agencies. Phan Thanh Nam, deputy editor-in-chief of Van Hoa (Culture) newspaper, said voting had been cancelled for two years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, although this year it would resume in order to honour the country’s most outstanding cultural, sporting, and tourism events. The organisers received a total of 111 nominations following submissions made by the culture, sports, and tourism departments of various cities and provinces, as well as agencies of the Ministry. Targeting children and adolescents in the age groups of 5-12 and 13-20, the contest consists of four categories, each having one first, one second, and one third prizes. Competitors have to sing in Vietnamese using songs composed by Vietnamese musicians or the country’s folk songs. Founder of the academy and head of the organising board Pham Ha My said V-Stella 2023 aims to find Vietnamese musical talents, preserve the Vietnamese language within expatriate communities in the UK and Europe, and bring classical music closer to the overseas Vietnamese audiences.    Candidates will have to go through three rounds, with the preliminary and second one taking place virtually on February 22 and March 22 to select the Top 26 and 20, respectively. Exploring the Pink Grasslands of Hai Duong

During the blooming season, the pink grassland on Sy dike (Chi Minh commune, Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province) quickly became an attractive check-in spot, drawing many people to visit and take photos.
