Hanoi welcomes return of European Day of Languages

Run by the Council of Europe and organised annually by the European Union National Institutes of Culture, European Day of Languages offers people the chance to experience a multilingual environment whilst enjoying a day full of activities and prizes.

Participating representatives will be given a platform to present their languages and countries. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn some words in Czech, Romanian, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish, as well as getting an insight into the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.

Short classes lasting for 30 minutes will be offered in these languages, and participants will learn some basic vocabulary and communication strategies in all of these languages.

Most notably, the event will allow visitors to attend a French class and gain more information about studying in Belgium, as organised by the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation to Vietnam.

‘Speak-dating’ will also be an activity on offer, allowing everyone to come into contact with each of these different languages in five minutes of fun learning.

Vietnam selected among Top 8 Best Bikini at Miss Earth 2023

After receiving 28,000 likes, 1,200 comments, and 461,000 shares on the official Facebook page of the Miss Earth pageant, Lan Anh stands out. Among the Top 8 Best Bikini contestants for continental groups, Miss Earth Vietnam and Miss Earth Philippines from the Asia and Oceania group secured their spots. The Africa group featured beauties from Madagascar and Zimbabwe, while Paraguay and Venezuela represented the Americas. Miss Earth Bulgaria and Miss Earth Netherlands had the highest scores in the Europe group. The final round of the “Inno Vietnam – Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023” took place on November 3 in Hanoi. Foreign Investors Impresses With Vietnamese Start-ups The “Challenge Owners” at the final round are six entities in the innovation and tech sector from both Japan and Vietnam, namely VinFast , FPT Information System, MoMo (Vietnam), Becamex Tokyu Group, Money Forward, and Fujikin Group (Japan).
