The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, located in Dong Mo tourism area in Hanoi’s Son Tay township, is described as a “common home” of 54 ethnic groups from across the nation. Visitors to the village can experience daily activities of Vietnamese ethnic minorities, including traditional craft demonstrations, culinary introductions, folk games, and dances.
Bat Trang pottery village is situated just 20 minutes driving from Hanoi’s centre. The village has been producing ceramics and potteries for over six hundreds of years and sells items all over the world. Local villagers have thousand techniques to manage fire and create many types of ceramics and potteries.
About 45 kilometres west of downtown Hanoi, Duong Lam village in the capital’s Son Tay town still preserves many enchanting historical and cultural features. It boasts 956 ancient houses, including those built in 1649, 1703, and around 1850.
