Doraemon, a famous character in the Japanese manga series with the same name, is associated with the childhood of Vietnamese children for many generations. Run by the Council of Europe and organised annually by the European Union National Institutes of Culture, European Day of Languages offers people the chance to experience a multilingual environment whilst enjoying a day full of activities and prizes. Participating representatives will be given a platform to present their languages and countries. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn some words in Czech, Romanian, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish, as well as getting an insight into the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.
